Miscelanea NY was born and raised in NY's East Village. In its tiny 450-square feet it serves authentic Mexican sandwiches (tortas) and snacks (antojitos)—plus a tightly curated selection of specialty and hard-to-find Mexican products from apothecary to groceries.
Since it opened its doors in 2015, it exists to celebrate authentic Mexican culture as one would find it in the Mexico of today, an intoxicating mix of tradition and innovation.
Miscelanea NY produces a house line of products that includes candles, tableware and logo’d beanies + caps with the phrase “Son Of An Immigrant” and “Daughter Of An Immigrant” on the front. A portion of the sales from all "Son Of An Immigrant" and "Daughter Of An Immigrant" products are sent directly to the ACLU.
Our last day open was June 16th, 2019. Thank you for your business and continued support, we hope to see you again soon!
